December 2017 Update!

Hello guys! I don't know if anyone still reads my blog, but I'm back again to update you guys on life. First of all, I'm still in Italy, still studying, still living with my parents. But oh boy, this year has been a very good and very challenging year. I've been able to travel more, spend quality time with my family and friends more, made new friends, got out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to achieve something! I've managed to get my first ever serious job at the beginning of the year. I've been working full time since then, that's why I haven't been able to write a post, but of course, that's not an excuse.
Lately, I've been itching to be creative, take videos, photos, re-decorating my room and so on. This year is about to end so why not end it on a creative way and enter 2018 with a good start.
If you didn't know me and my cousin Allie have created a youtube channel two years ago and we still use it as a platform to share our lookbooks and travel diaries. It's called TheMeetingArrows (https://www.youtube.com/c/TheMeetingArrows), so feel free to visit us on there too.
This is all for now. I know I keep making a comeback every winter, but this time I will try harder to keep up with the blog and share with you guys my life experience, as well as my current fashion style! Guys, please stay tuned!  <3

Life update

Hello blog, it's been a while. I don't even know how many months have passed since I last wrote on here. So many things have happened, good and bad, yet I'm still here! I have so many memories I want to share, but right now the only thing I can think of is my future. So unpredictable and far away, but in order to reach our dream for the future we have to do something for it, starting now.
However it really brings you down when the things you're doing seems like they aren't enough. I guess it's true the saying "good things take time and they never come easy". It's been a year since I'm going after my dream, yet I've only reached 90% of it and failed miserably. I was, for two times, one step away to fulfil my dream, but nope, I guess it wasn't the right time. I just have to be positive and hopefull for the future.

COFFEE AND HOT CHOCO BROWNIE

Again I'm preparing myself for another exam but all I'm thinking about is this Brownie Hot Chocolate I got to taste few weeks ago. The other hot drink is a Cinnamon Cappuccino, but since I don't drink coffe I opted for this hot choco to try out. And OMG the crumbled brownie on top was the 'cherrie on top'. I actually ate the brownie and the whipped cream first and the drank the hot chocolate, but I should have stirred everything together and then drank it. The crumbles left in the drink made it taste ten times better. How I wish I could have a zip of it right now! My partner in crime is currently on a family trip in NY (lucky her), once she comes back and I finish these exams, we're totally gonna hit the coffee shop again!

LIFETIME

Just got home and I had to quickly write about this girl, Darlene. Today I spent the whole day with her trying to make up for all the dates we couldn't go on with each other. We usually meet on weekends and that's quite often if you think about it, but in my mind I feel like I took her time for granted and now, she's leaving to Davao, Philippines in two days time. Only couple of minutes ago I bid farewell to her and I burst out crying. I've only met her in the beginning of 2015 but I can safely say that she is one of the most genuine, kind, lovely and inspiring people I've ever known. We didn't have much time to chit chat or hang out during her stay here because of work and school but with all the hugs and cuddles we shared, she knows she holds a special place in my heart. Earlier, she handed me a short letter before separating, all I can say is that I'll miss her more than I could have imagined. 

God bless you Darl. I'll miss you

RAINY DAYS AREN'T ALWAYS A BAD THING

We're now in the middle of summer but I thought I'd share with you these photos that my partner in crime TheCandyshake took I while back. 

It was still spring back then and the wind was still a bit chilly, but regardless of the rainy days, during those times, I began to be the happiest I've ever been. Something unexpected happened and I could not be more thankful to God who has blessed me with something so precious. I'm carefully cherishing it and I would never ever let it go again. As I found my ultimate happiness, I wish for everyone to live happily and enjoy and cherish what we have everyday, even the simplest things such as waking up, breathing the morning fresh air or even being able to feel the warmth of the sun; let's all live positively and something greater and bigger will definitely come along the way.

DAYDREAM

Hello guys! It's been a while since you last saw me! It was only spring then and now it's summer. Literally it's so hot you melt the moment you step outside! It's currently exam season too and it's finally about to end soon. Unfortunately there's nothing really planned for me this summer. I have no idea where I'm going to spend the holidays, neither what I am going to do. What I know is that I really need a getaway trip, to the Philippines perhaps but I don't think it's going to happen this year. I need to just get on a plane, fly there, grab some coconut shake, meet up with someone and I'll be able to survive another year of uni. Seriously, all I could think about are planes, airports, beaches, fresh fruit shakes and me taking lots of pictures. Oh well, maybe next summer! Just wanted to let you know that I'm back!

MOM JEANS STYLIN

Sunday is usually the day where I dedicate my time roaming around the shops, eating hamburgers and desserts and spending time with my fellow blogger and adventures partner TheCandyshake. Sometimes we even just stay in bed all day long and go out just to have dinner (then come back home again, I know). 

On sundays we don't just shoot for our blogs, most of times we spend the day stuffing our faces! Yes. Eating. Having ice cream, crepes, shakes, açai bowls and a lot more!

G A R I B A L D I

The most modern neighbourhood in Milan would definitely be Porta Nuova or better known as Garibaldi. It's an area where offices, shops, little cafès and few skyscrapers can be found (even one that resembles the Burj Khalifa). The color of this area is mostly grey due to it's modern buildings, but it's surprising to know that right in this area, there's also the "Bosco verticale" that adds a big touch of green at the surrounding! Garibaldi has definitely become one of my favorite places to just relax and sit around chatting with friends while enjoying a cup of tea; and the last time I visited, it happened to match my monochrome outfit!

Last night the time officially changed and I'm now writing at 3.55 pm when it's supposed to be 2:55. Lack of sleep and one hour less in the day are not doing me good for this weekend. The sun outside though, it's making me want to eat a Vanilla Cookie ice cream! Gotta go!

I was browsing through my phone earlier today when I noticed that the first day of spring has just passed by as I looked at the date on the screen. The season when the flowers are supposed to bloom; the season of the light rain, the sunny days and the colourful flowers is about to come again. Finally. People say that the spring could be the best time to start over again, to start fresh and make something bloom again. Well, I guess something has definitely bloomed for me.

T H R O W B A C K

Today I'm bringing the reknown "instagram throwback" to Larosamarie to share a shoot we did few months back. 

It's so amazing to see how many changes happen in a matter of few weeks, the style, the hairstyle, how the day pass by and the emotions you feel. Changes are good but it makes me realise how time goes by so quickly that sometimes we can't fully acknowledge and appreciate what's going on in our lives yet. We wake up every morning and suddenly is bedtime again. I wish time could slow down sometimes...
