T H O U G H - V I B E S

Last night the time officially changed and I'm now writing at 3.55 pm when it's supposed to be 2:55. Lack of sleep and one hour less in the day are not doing me good for this weekend. The sun outside though, it's making me want to eat a Vanilla Cookie ice cream! Gotta go!

S P R I N G

I was browsing through my phone earlier today when I noticed that the first day of spring has just passed by as I looked at the date on the screen. The season when the flowers are supposed to bloom; the season of the light rain, the sunny days and the colourful flowers is about to come again. Finally. People say that the spring could be the best time to start over again, to start fresh and make something bloom again. Well, I guess something has definitely bloomed for me.

“Is the spring coming?" he said. "What is it like?"... "It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine...” ― Frances Hodgson BurnettThe Secret Garden
I glanced out the window at the signs of spring. The sky was almost blue, the trees were almost budding, the sun was almost bright.” ― Millard KaufmanBowl of Cherries

T H R O W B A C K

Today I'm bringing the reknown "instagram throwback" to Larosamarie to share a shoot we did few months back.
It's so amazing to see how many changes happen in a matter of few weeks, the style, the hairstyle, how the day pass by and the emotions you feel. Changes are good but it makes me realise how time goes by so quickly that sometimes we can't fully acknowledge and appreciate what's going on in our lives yet. We wake up every morning and suddenly is bedtime again. I wish time could slow down sometimes...

DENIM 3.0

Spring is finally approaching as the weather has been quite good to us citizen of Milan. The breeze is nicely cool and the sun is keeping us warm enough. I absolutely love the winter season and wearing big, long coats and bundling up with scarves and beanies but I have to be honest, it feels nice to finally ditch those big coats and finally wear something light and layer thinner clothes. Denim is definitely the fabric to go for this nice mild temperatures.
I brought my outfit up to the next level by not wearing only denim jacket and pants, but also carrying this recycled denim bag pack which is one of the "challenging" pieces for my uni's project (click here to know what I'm talking about). Who say you can't wear three denim pieces all at once?

R U C K S A C K

As you guys may or may not know, I am a Communication student who has always loved doing creative things such as sketching, styling clothes, making collages, making scrap books and so on.
By majoring in communication, it never crossed my mind that I could do something creative during my years in uni. Sometimes I wonder what if I just applied for a fashion / design university: I guess I'd have huge eye bags for not sleeping enough, but I'd get to play with a bunch of materials, let ideas become real and create something! Of course, these are all dreams / regrets that I have in my mind but finally I got to do something interesting this time! For a class I got to create an actual blog and post content of my own. Me and colleagues opted for a fashion blog, where we would style challenging pieces. I had to style a purple, blue and turquoise rucksack. It isn't anything crazy but considering it wasn't really my style it was a bit challenging putting a satisfying outfit (from my perspective) together, but I did it and here are the results!

S E A S H O R E

Milan is a continental city ,which means that there is no sea close by. The nearest seas are either in Genova or in Venice. Last Friday evening, my family decided to have an impromptu trip to Genova, to see the ocean and have a breath of fresh air. So on Saturday morning we drove down to Genova and headed to a small town called Cogoleto. I wasn’t expecting anything from this trip, as I thought we were just going to the beach for a little while and then go have lunch in a restaurant there.
We ended up finding these huge rocks on the beach, where we had a picnic, sat down and just enjoyed the fresh breeze and the quietness. It felt like we went on a quick getaway from stress of daily life, the pollution and the hecticness of the city.
